Itinerary
- Montmartre: Montmartre is primarily known for its artistic history, the white-domed Basilica of the Sacré-Cœur on its summit, and as a nightclub district. The other church on the hill, Saint Pierre de Montmartre, built in 1147, was the church of the prestigious Montmartre Abbey.
- Le Marais: We recommend you to go for a walk in this amazing district of Paris called Le Marais. A romantic, festive and trendy district, the charm of the Marais lies in its cobblestone streets, historic spots and quirky boutiques. Straddling the Paris Centre arrondissement, this district with a village feel was built on marshland (‘marais’ in French), hence its name. Parisians and visitors alike love to come here for a leisurely stroll, as it is a great place to spend time and/or go shopping. A closer look at this many-faceted must-see district
- Moulin Rouge: You must have heard that an evening at the Moulin Rouge is truly unforgettable. Tucked away in Montmartre this world famous cabaret venue scandalised Paris with the birth of the can-can, still performed today. Walk in under the red windmill that gives the Moulin Rouge its name. You're in an extravagant world where decadence reigns. Experience Baz Lurhmann's blockbuster movie 'Moulin Rouge' in real life. People come here and enjoy the 'Feerie' show, the latest extravaganza from the Moulin Rouge's high-kicking performers. We will walk by Moulin rouge on the way uphill towards Montmartre
- Basilique du Sacre-Coeur de Montmartre: The Sacré-Coeur, consecrated in 1919, is one of the most iconic monuments in Paris. At the top of the Butte Montmarte, it has one of the most beautiful panoramic views of the capital, from 130 metres above ground. In a Roman-Byzantine style, the Sacré Coeur is recognizable by its white colour. Inside the building, the ceiling is decorated with the largest mosaic in France measuring about 480 m². The crypt is also worth a visit. And to go even higher up, visitors can access the dome where the 360° view of Paris is magnificent. A short walk from the Sacré Coeur is the Place du Tertre, the district of Abbesses with its steep, winding roads, and at the bottom of the hill, the famous Moulin Rouge cabaret.
- Seine River: See Paris like you've never seen it before with a one hour cruise experience at the Seine River. The Seine River in Paris is what the Danube is to Budapest, and what the River Thames is to London. It's often nicknamed as Paris' most beautiful avenue, and it flows right through the heart of the city.
